When it comes to design, creation and talent, the mix can be explosive. And even more so when it deals with jewelry, as seen in the joint collaboration between Alex de Haro and Cristina Costa. Both met in a past edition of the Spanish jewelry tradeshow Iberjoya. Cristina was exhibiting for the first time and the work of this Portuguese designer caught Alex´s attention. They decided to work together and thus Aro was born, a jewelry firm that mixed the designs of both, full of imagination, creativity and freedom. Before breaking into the Spanish jewelry scene, they had previously exhibited in the Portuguese jewelry tradeshow Portojoia with good reception in the Portuguese market.

Cristina Costa’s designs use gold, precious and semi-precious stones combined with materials such as wood, among others.  Alex focuses on silver and tends toward eclectic designs. The arrival of Aro in Spain at that time was the culmination of an innovative project by two young and restless designers with the desire to gain a foothold in the market. The Portuguese Cristina Costa and Spaniard Alex de Haro bring their imagination, magic and sensitivity to jewelry creations that don´t leave anyone indifferent.
